Yeah, I know, it’s early. But the Banjo Hangout is having a contest for banjo renditions of this tune, and I decided to toss my hat in the ring, so to speak. Might win the 6-string banjo first prize, which I can’t imagine having any use for, or a Lakota Leather strap second prize which I would like a lot. So we’ll see.

Once again, it’s not your hillbilly banjo… very few cowboy chords even. I kind of like the banjo accompanied by piano. Anyway, it is what it is. Happy New Year waaaaay the heck in advance.
