Influences range from Bela Bartok to Lemon Jelly, with an exhausting but not exhaustive catalogue of 20th and 21st Century music (Stravinsky, the Velvet Underground, John Adams, the Clash, Debussy, David Bowie, Osvaldo Golijov, Duke Ellington, Anton von Webern, McCoy Tyner, David Lang, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Brian Eno) in between.

The Cat and Cage released its first album, “Evidence of Absence,” in 2010 and is working on the follow-up album “Zenith”.
