The recording is from my 2010 RPM album. I thought I'd find out what it would sound like with all the production taken off.

Couldn't think of any words for this one...

Yeah, take all that anger and negativity and hammer it into a musical shape. This one had to come out.

So MTC put out [this wonderfully sparse instrumental piece](http://alonetone.com/mtcband/tracks/shadow-of-myself) and a vocal line just jumped out at me. Then some harmonies jumped out as well.
