CHRISTMAS IN MY HEART

CHRISTMAS IN MY HEART
Dear Mom and Dad,
I know you worry. I’ll bet you’re tired
But, I know you’re thinking of me
Your letters keep me inspired
When the Time comes and I can’t leave
Sand in my boots. Sores on my feet
I’ll stand the heat
It’s Christmas in my heart
It’s Christmas in my heart out on this sandy sea
And thanks to my memories, It’s Christmas in my heart
I’ve got a picture. You’ve got one too
Remember that picture of me throwing snowballs at you?
Well, this ain’t no forest and it’s miles to a tree
And there is smoke in the sky where the clouds outta be
But it don’t bother me, because it’s Christmas in my heart
You can tell Mom I got those cookies. They didn’t last long
It’s Christmas in my heart out on this sandy sea
And, thanks to your memory, it’s Christmas in my heart
And, thanks to your memory, I’ve got Christmas in my heart
