First sounds from a deconstructed reconstructed guitar I started about a year ago. It was a Steinberger copy that I wanted to make fretless. That led to decided to strip it of all paint, electronics and rebuild as the parts and it were old. In my naive finishing I had lots of drips and messes and left to rest for several months. I recently got tired of looking at it, took sand paper to it and hacked away at the tar like finish till it was kind of in between. I think wired in a simple single coil cigar box pickup and a volume pot hoping I had the grounding right. Well today strung it up with round wounds after coming to the feeling I wouldn’t find double ball ended flat wounds and amazingly it all works decently. There is hum and I will relook at my connections but it makes music or I like it :)

Digging the ambience of this one, and its "outside the box" delivery.
