From the RPM 2008 Challenge album, "Raw." It's a country blues song that I wrote while sitting on the bank of the muddy Brazos River in central Texas. It was dark and I was drunk and the river gave me this song.
Theme song for my Western novel series of the same name (which can be read in serial format at kaistarr.com). It's a "built" song, using all Apple loops, and I like to think it has a bit of a spaghetti Western feel to it.

Recorded in February of 2007 for the RPM Challenge album, "Monochrome Heart." I have no idea where this song came from. I was futzing around and sort of got into a lonesome country kind of spot. This is the result. It's about life on the road.
