I just stopped by to get high, trade a smile and drop off this little tune
This melody its been haunting me
Lately, i swear i hear it wanting you
I got a lyric but lets be clear its more just a state of mind
And if ya wanna hear it give it time…
As i look back i sorta lost track
Of the tempo in the verse
Had to jot it down before its gone just like the way that we rehearsed
Its all vibe its not contrived, its endless space and time
And if ya wanna catch it ya gotta
Lose your mind
and all you poets step up and show us
oh how you weave the rhymes
Show me yours, i’ll show mine
Theres a part in the bridge that makes me cringe i think it needs another look
Perhaps i’m mystified if its the riff or its vibe messing with the hook
I got a chorus but much like before its more just a simple rhyme
If ya wanna join us ya gotta free your mind
Its a simple rhythm but please forgive ‘em if he slip’s just a little behind…
