The first "teaser" rough mix from my forthcoming rock opera. Every sound on this track is from an Atari 2600 video game. I created a software instrument out of game sound samples, which I used to play the parts heard here. Only some EQ and reverb…

A blast from the past! This 100% improvised track was recorded in two passes in 1994 by Bassius-O-Phelius, a duo consisting of myself on bass and clarinet, and my friend Mark Bergen on Farfisa organ and Wurlitzer electric piano. It's probably…

Another one from the archives, this is a goofy little experimental jam I recorded in 2008, interesting mainly for its title.

Although I've been blogging daily about my progress with this year's RPM, I've been playing my cards close to the vest in terms of actually sharing the works in progress. I'm especially excited about how this track is coming together, though…

This is the new version of one of the tracks from my new project… rerecordings of some of my early solo recordings. This is definitely the most significantly altered arrangement in the project so far. I was almost ready to scrap it entirely until…

The first of three tracks in this year's "Winter Sketches" EP. As preparation for my concept for this year's RPM Challenge, ALL SOUNDS were produced on an iPhone. The apps used for this song include Argon, Funkbox, Beatmaker, Filtatron and NESynth.
