Hi Micheal and welcome .....I like the non genre thing alonetone has going pretty much for the same reason as Andy in that it allows me to listen to music that I wouldn't normally if labeled and it aallows me to find those gems on here of which there arelenty and gain a bit of inspiration.....I have no idea what genre my musical attempts would come under as I kinda make songs to fit what ever I'm feeling on any particular day...I appreciate all types of music and and prefer not to put the differnt types into a box.....it does take a while to find your way around but not too long .....you find someone you like and then from the list that they follow you find another and so on.......it's a very friendly site ....see or hear you around |

I agree totally with the Old grey one,Andy and Jim that's why I'm here....a release of sorts....it helps on tiring day when there all against you and everything is going bad ......there's always someone to appreciate your efforts on Alonetone......with a kind word........who needs fame and fortune.....it would only lead to mental health problems....split personalities.......abuse of drugs or drink just to cope..with the pressures .......your time not your own .....owned by some multi national record company...performing like some leashed Monkey on the organ grinders shoulder..someone pionting a camera in your face at every turn.......sounds too much like one of the bad jobs I've had...although I'm sure the money would be better...but no....I think I'll carry on as I am ......anonymous to a degree ..... enjoing being heard ...as well as enjoying listening to the talents on this site....but while im here...waffling ....I should order a drink really.......well.....mines a whiskey with a touch of lemonade with some ice ..please..a Jamisons if you have it ...and double if your feeling generous....cheers |
