THE DARKEND ROAD
You say its all my fault
But really you know
both of us got it wrong
Now both our dreams are broken in two
Now there gone
Looking back I can see
How it all went wrong
How we began to sing to separate songs
How we both felt so alone
In a broken dream

Tomorrow seemed so far away
As the night
clouds my dream
I remember things
That I’ve tried to forget
The Screams so loud
Doors slamming
The ground shakes with the thought of all those things
that were said in the night

This darkened road we’ve found ourselves on
Is our own fault
We never took the time to heal
The wounds from our youth
We burned the night
We burned the love
We burned our dreams no there gone
Back into the mists of time, no more
Its time to carry on
