Yup, in this lovely weekend in August, alonetone surpassed 2,000 juicy independent free tracks from juicy independent musicians
Congratulations guys and gals for being so darn prolific.
My vacation (or unemployment, depending on how you look at it) is about to come to an end. I've been in relative computer-free bliss the last few weeks, but do not worry! In just a few weeks you should see some really nice tweaks to alonetone, including:
- The ability to 'update' a track with a new version, whilst keeping comments, listen count & history, etc.
- Some 'alonetone alerts' via email to let you know when someone has made a comment on your track
- The ability to 'stalk' other alonetone artists and easily see when they've posted a new track, etc.
- Juicier statistics on individual tracks
If you've got more ideas for sweetening the already sweet alonetone pudding, please pop on over to the alonetone forums and share them. I'm going on vacation in the Austrian countryside for a few days - but then I'll be back and ready to cook up another alonetone omelette.

everyone is really nice here, I feel like I'm asking people for bus fare in the lobby of the mormon tabernacle. (without the mormon part of course . . . and the bus fare . . . and I'm not really asking anyone for "money" exactly) but thank you, your very nice.

Got a closet full of stuff. I'm just glad its getting heard. And apparently, I'm getting heard a lot from the numbers I'm tracking. But that why musician do what they do, so people can listen. Viva la global vibe!
