Clear Water

Tack on the soles of our two shoes,
Walk until we can find the dam.
And if the water is shallow enough,
Maybe you wouldnt mind wading in.
Waist deep, and it’s getting cold,
Still you refuse to go home.
You’re convinced that I want to stay,
You won’t even let me say no.

We’ll start a fire, read by it at night
Let’s remember, the best of every sight

End of the night when the fire burns out,
The first one to sleep meets the wolves.
You’ve got a chance to fend for yourself,
With a foraged heart and a rule.
Don’t give em your back, or break a line,
Or surely they’ll be forced to bite.
Set fire to the forest, hide in the mud,
Atleast you won’t meet a tooth.
