Power Lines

I originally wrote this as a folk song but being unable to play guitar, I realized I’d probably never actually be able to get it out in any way so I refurbished it into what you hear here.
When I was younger and going for long drives, I always felt more relaxed being on roads that had telephone poles and wires nearby. It was comforting knowing I was close enough to other people. Somehow, I felt less alone.
With this song, I tried to capture that sense of company that power lines have when they line the road. Sometimes all you have is the company of power lines.
