July 12- end of scene
Benstopfel
Im so sick of being tired
Im so tired of being tricked
Into giving up my time
To get a chance to live
A sliver at a time
And all the time im sapped
Like sugar in a tree
I freeze and thaw again
Until I’m flowing free
And I take a look around
And i realize it’s not bad
To listen to the sounds
That don’t come from a speaker
The crickets like to sing
With frogs in harmony
And accompany the wind
To the song that I ignore
I won’t let myself be bored
But there’s something else at play
Some generating force
That move the sails of ships
At harbour or at sea
I’m moved invisibly
By something more than me
I’m trying be improved
I’m going to be renewed
Like parking or like vows
Im going to be brand new
I won’t be charged again
And like a silver screen
I’ll see a lot of ends
Until the end of scene
