I’m going to keep this one simple, because it is so personal:

It is a genuine “love story”, and the last love song I will ever write.

She adored this song, whilst our shared love was at its peak… but I guess it wasn’t enough to maintain her loyalty and honour.

In the end, she chose infidelity… whilst I chose integrity. But that all occurred much later… (forgive me, for the digression, fellow travellers!)
