I Will Shine

Day 13

Lately it seems, I don’t know what I’m living for
Occasionally, I feel so unsure
And I know this world holds so much more

Seems to me, don’t know who I am any more
I don’t really know what I stand for
But I’ve been held down for too long now

Eventually, you need to face the enemy
Question my beliefs, and what’s inside of me
What I need is a more fulfilling life

I know I will make it, In time
I’ll prove I can take it I will shine

If left to me, I’d change how the world would see
And I would give, new meaning to my life
If I start right now, I still have time

What I need, is a kind of inner peace
That can’t be too much, for me to ask for
And I know that’s something to explore
