Another Uke-laden track for RPM

This song is sung from someone else's viewpoint. Another Record Every Month submission.

I had this one riff and wanted to do something for August's REM so I just followed the riff through. Most on humanity is now forced to live on Antarctica, but that's ok because Antarctica is coooool.

This song tells a story about how we set up the first Student Radio station on our campus in 2008 or so back when streaming over the internet was still quite difficult. Featuring Big Rips on guitars and backing vocals.

Written for Novembers Record Every Month project. I was feeling frustrated about COP 26 in Glasgow and our joint failure to act on climate change, despite the visible effects around the world and here in my own city.

December's Record Every Month submission is a Christmas track. I wasn't going to write a Christmas song but the seed was planted on the forums. I got a lyric idea to sing about the excessive waste of the season and the song grew from there.

This is a song about a time I took too much drugs. It was an experience that has had a lasting impact on me.

I had this little lick in my head since the summer and it eventually came out into a song. It's about focused but undirected anger with the world, in general.

Still figuring out this guitar thing. There's not much more to say about this song. I had fun making it.

A song about being aimless but too scared to choose a path. I wrote it in my head on my bike... and recorded it this month. For Record Every Month June 2022
