Coda_(31EDO)

NullPointerException

This is the 31st, and final, track in my album, Edolian, where I sequentially make a song in every EDO from 1 to 31. I’ve typed that so many times, but now is the final time.

This song is the culmination of all the previous songs. It’s less it’s own composition and more a medley of my favorite songs from the album, and as such, it does not have a set scale or time signature. I’d just like to say thank you for going on this journey with me, this project has defined my life for the last month. It feels so surreal that I am finished with it now. I just can’t believe I’ve finished this project. Well, the unceasing motion of time progresses forward, and with it I will start new projects, and make new compositions. The end of this project will mark a interesting footnote in my life.

That was a little bit of a ramble. But more about the song, if you listened to it fully, the ending sounds a bit underwhelming. That’s because I’ve been working for this song the entire day and I just wanted to be done with it. Regardless, I really like how it turned out, even if the ending is not the best. This song is probably best when listening to the entire album prior to listening to it, instead of just listening to this alone.

So, about my upload schedule. I’ll probably be taking a hiatus throughout november, as this project has been really exhausting for me. However, I have another, a lot less demanding project that I have planned for December, and it should turn out good.
