NullPointerException

This is the 19th song in my album, Edolian, where I sequentially make a song in every EDO from 1 to 31, sequentially.

This song is probably one of the less interesting songs in this album, except maybe the harmony. Hell, it’s even in 4/4. However, I still enjoyed composing it, although towards the end I didn’t really know what to do so the ending is a bit unsatisfying. But overall, it’s not a terrible piece. I could’ve probably gone somewhere different with the chords, to make it more interesting, but I only have 1 day to make each song, so I can’t really do that much interesting things. So, more about 19EDO. 19EDO is one of the main proposed alternatives to the typical 12EDO. It does a lot of just intervals good, and is generally a good temperament. The steps are somewhat comparable to quarter tones, which allows some interesting harmony, but since the steps are larger it just fits a lot more nicely than 24EDO does.

So, the next song is 20EDO, which is effectively 10EDO twice. That song is probably gonna be mostly chords and things, or not. We’ll see when I get there.
