Snows of Terror brings the listener to a intersection of the young ladies journey. No matter how often she stumble HE is there to pick her back up. She can start to help other that have fallen as she has. Addiction will always be apart of her life, but through faith, she can use it to help those in need of the same help she needs.
We don’t get to see where her family ends up in this story.. We are focused on her journey of seeking God and putting down the bottle. We don’t know if she succeeds. We only see her find hope.
Verse
I have reached the bottom
There’s no where left to go
And I don’t know if you know
I never meant to hurt you
Carried on those scars
That I’ve caused, you bare
It’s so cold where I’ve been
I don’t know how to begin
Chorus
And only You know where I’ve been
You’ve reached out Your hand again
If only to carry me home
With Your grace and grace alone
Verse two
My life, is crumbling
And I couldn’t fix it
And though, I’ve tried again
This time I let You in
A peace, so profound,
A joy so vast
Forgiveness so, unconditional, You washed it all away
Bridge
If only I could share
Your love in the tiniest bit
Than every time I fall short
Wouldn’t be an utter failure
But a chance to grow and try
And this time I know You are there
Melting into Your embrace, and I’ve believed ever since
