Somewhat of an older track of mine, and maybe the first thing I did where I really thought I was onto something good.

I might go back and do an expanded version of this someday. Despite the title, I think it works nicely as an ambient piece.

I was pretty much trying to be The Field with this one.

This just stemmed from deliberately trying to make a drum loop as distorted and ugly-sounding as possible. Violik from The Tapeworm Collective contributed the dubby bass and some strange noises.

Composed in digital performer for a course in computer music. Some of the presets reminded me of Kraftwerk, so I thought I'd attempt something in that style. "The doom house" was my sister's nickname for her place of residence at the time.
