There was no direct route through the wasteland that was once a thriving settlement. Traversing the terrain required utilizing those places where the road still remained navigable and plenty of improvisation where the routes of yesteryear had completely worn away.

Occasionally, a friendly voice could still be found on the CB radio, but the majority of the voices were no longer human. Creatures capable of pressing a button and vocalizing, but not of making any coherent sense beyond that.
