One of three demos I made in 2012. This set of demos is particularly marred by two things: terrible drum patterns and thin, disjointed guitars. The drums suck because I’m not a drummer and paid very little attention to them. The guitars suck mostly because I opted to record only two passes, as opposed the the usual four to eight passes. I did this because, at the time, I was way out of practice and four guitar tracks sounded like a big, muddy mess of sloppy playing.

Mostly written in the summer of 2005, this song has been recorded on several different occasions. This is the latest, recorded in the summer of 2012. This demo really helped expose many of the songs weaknesses, the latest incarnation has a better distribution of energy and rhythm. It was brought to my attention that the ‘main riff’ sounds similar to Avenged Sevenfold’s ‘Unholy Confessions’, which in turn sounds very similar Death’s ‘Spirit Crusher’. At the time of writing this song, I had not listened to either of those bands.
