This is about the parth to self discovery and spirituality. All paths are valid and there is no requirement to be shown the way by someone else when we all have the ability to express our personal connection to the creator in our own personal way. Ritual and dogma are often confused with spirituality, but in the Native American way there is often an emphasis on personal connection, finding your own voice with the creator, instead of copying the exact tracks of someone elses spiritual path.
