Notes: We performed this piece in competition at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. During the award ceremony, a school called Clovis High School took nearly all the awards (It wasn’t until later that we found out they were the only school entered in each category). WHHS was sitting there feeling almost humiliated until they announced the winners of the overall competition. Needless to say, we won the big one.
