I used to do a solo “punk” act called Ultimately Sammy, which had lyrics like:

“They wanna be pooh pooh
And they wanna read Ayn Rand
And they wanna strangle babies with a rubber band.”

I knew nothing about her books at the time, but I read that big one years later and realized that paring her with baby-strangling was entirely appropriate. Thus, this tribute.
