3) Mirror
chadtindale
(May)
When you smile at the mirror
The mirror smiles back
When you wave at the mirror
The mirror waves right back
But when the gate opens up
And into the plane you’ll glide
And the airship you retake
Will you go on will you fly?
When the orphans cry for help
Tell me, what then will you do?
When you try to hurt the mirror it hurts you.
There’s nothing to be gained
From looking men in the eye
If you find yourself in darkness
Don’t look away or you’ll die
But when you live in the haze
Lightly tread on the glass
The little girl that you saved
Will she be safe at last
When the maestro plays
Will you dance to his tune?
When you try to hurt the mirror, it hurts you.
Though fight at the shadows
The monster still kills
You won’t win fighting darkness
It’ll come for you still
But the man who controls them
He’s the one you should seek
He is there in the darkness learning
Things that you’ll need
And when he’s here in your home
Tell me, what then will you do?
When you try to hurt the mirror it hurts you.
