This was my attempt as a songwriter to make a commercially sellable song. It didn’t work, but I love how it turned out anyway. These are the lyrics:

At the Lazy L he’s the head Ranch Hand

Saw her dancing - gave her a smile

When she asked him if he’d like to dance
He gave her what you’d call a sideways glance
He moved in close to say it’s not his style
And then he told her

He shook his head and just told her No
