This is the finale to Third Symphony, depicting the fall gathering of animals at Yellowstone.

I sort of wanted to call a band Department Of Meteors, but it became a song title instead.

The third movement of Third Symphony, describing a group of mule deer transfixed by the light of the moon and stars.

This was written in 1983. Used as backing music for a dance project in Ft Collins, CO. There is now a lyric and a melody. This version is a serious jam.
