Soar (demo)

So this was my attempt at being nostalgic. I grew up in the UK in the era of Britpop where soulful working class bands sang about not very much in Northern accents. The words are pretty much meaningless, the drum beat is repetitive, the piano is pretty workmanlike and my voice isn’t at its best.

But! I do like the chord changes around the word ‘soar’. I might keep this track, or change the words, or I might cannibalise those bits for something else. (Recorded 2008)
