Midnight Train just kinda came to me when I saw some pics of soldiers being loaded onto trains and sent home for burial. Kinda dark, but real. It was a one take recording. I wrote it as I sang it and looked at the pictures. I felt a lot of emotion with that one. I guess from looking at the pics as I sang. - Scotty McKnight
