The face of familial exhaustion how it grabs traction
it freezes

And flattery the faker’s veneer
And reputation’s advance will lead you nowhere
With nowhere to go

That’s a hard lesson learned it’s a hard-chosen road
Every choice I held back just afraid I suppose
Dreading structures of life
You think you can do better
And you’re probably right

But things aren’t changing here
So go switch it up
go ahead and cut it off the cuff

She was visibly shaking with baited breath
That’s how the elements shape us, circumvent
