This is a quick demo of Gibson’s BurstBucker 1&2 pickups. For this demo I played my 1958 Reissue Les Paul into a Mesa/Boogie Express 5:50 combo, miked with a crappy old vocal mic.
The first set of samples is a little blues lick, played with a Peptone-modded Boss DS-1 pedal. I play the neck pickup, then the middle position, then the bridge.
The second set of samples is a Pearl Jam-ish chord progression, played direct into the amp set for a mild overdrive.
The third set of samples is a Zeppelin-inspired chord progression played direct into the amp on the Crunch setting.

I put this together in about 10 minutes, with no warmup, so there are mistakes. The crappy mic was all I had, and it clips a bit as the gain goes up on the amp, but it still captures the basic tone of the pickups and amp.
