A Traveler Unravels

Seattle composer Steve Layton recently released a series of ‘mashes’ from the Sound-In community that he centered around pieces that I initially did which he took and combined with other pieces by other members of the Sound-In world to make new works. This was both flattering and inspiring and I started thinking about the banjo I gave my son. I borrowed it and improvised this piece which I’ll post on the next Sound-In gathering.
