ADAM'S PLAGUE

ADAM’S PLAGUE
And those not killed by Adam’s Plague
Repented not the work at hand
Their search for truth was strangely vague
They spread their lies across the land
They clung to things of stone and wood
Which cannot see nor hear or care
They grabbed at all the wealth they could
But cared not for the souls aware
Helter Skelter, comin’ down fast
Twenty-thirty six, gonna be a big blast
Mountain in the sky that’s headed for the sea
Gonna free this planet from a-you and me
They polished all their shiny coins
Their knives would kill, their spells would steal
They spread about their rotting loins
Their hearts were numb, they could not feel
Around the sun and back again
To clear the globe and try again
If Adam fails, will nature win?
Just turn the page, it reads, “The End!”
Abounding love could win the day
To save the globe this dawning day
If Adam cares, we’ll find a way
Just turn the page, there’s more to say!
