CAN'T RESET

A creepy/gloomy with a bit of a stab at electronica and a slightly more aggressive stab at techno in the center. That mood seemed to fit the poetry. Falling Autumn leaves sound like this in my head.
CAN'T RESET
The many poems I’ve penned, just to throw away
Melodies I’ve tossed aside, left in yesterday
So often I gave up, and with some regret
As it is, I won’t comply, since I can’t reset
I can’t reset, nor count on my tomorrows
Disgusted with the truth, and deeming all my sorrows
So many times I’ve cried, wasted on spilt milk
Tears for cotton, tears for wool, when I could weave silk
Pearls before swine
Pearls of great price
It’s human once
And insane twice
Worlds before me
Worlds of great worth
Not since my death
Not since my birth
