Slick is a nick name that my friend Charles coined for me that has stuck amongst a niche of my friends. Presumably it’s representative to the way my hair is usually styled, however it could be any number of reasons. I never really questioned it. This was the first tune I wrote for Equilibrium jazz quintet.
