started thinking about ancient egypt and the about a lot of other mysterious things all over the world. i personally think we should know all there is about ancient civilizations that are, more than likely, being hidden from us all in various places for various reasons. this is a metal prog psyche song.

long ago and far far away
in a time when pyramids were built
amazing knowledge long forgotten
burned or hoarded for all time
we only know a fraction of our history

open your minds and look for the truth
open your hearts and live for love
only then can you clear a path of knowledge

so many other civilizations before us
either covered up or unknown
we all deserve this knowledge
to get into a better zone

i wonder of the secrets witheld from us
in the vatican or the smithsonian institution
or any where else in the world
not allowing us to know our real selves
not allowing us the truth about it all

antiquity can tell us
as to not repeat history
and perhaps become better
the selfish lot we are

not even religion brings enough compassion
not even love finds enough hearts
but the truth remains hidden
by those who do not want you to know

we deserve our whole history
no matter how bizarre
we must better ourselves
cause we’ve gone too far

all over the world
and what about space crafts flying
before we even had planes
