another metal prog song with some psyche. it’s kind of a sci-fantasy tale. nearly 8:30 mins and even that was condensed from what I could have done. I think this one has a few cool changes. thanks again for even listening!

i left my land in such disgrace
while ambushed they killed my race
i roam the netherlands in space
righting the wrongs to save my face

i was a wizard so they say
living in glory till that day
until the evil made me pay
now to roam the cosmos in my way

the shooting star you see is me

it was a calm hot night
while the moon shined bright
when the evil one’s did come
slaughtering one by one

i was off in another land
to offer a helping hand
slaying the evil, vile band
while they killed everyone in my land

now, forever in the cosmos, evil i fight!

hate filled my veins
until fate pulled in the reigns
will the evil ever cease?
forever i fight for peace
the slaughter of my race haunts me to this day

conjuring a view of the past
the horror forever lasts

dedicating my life to stop them
and to put an end of the evil they do
medicating my life with vengeance
and all the evil ones i will pursue

it’s been a millennium since that day
even now i will make all the evil ones pay

gaze to the skies
can you see me?
this fate is mine
never to be free
