I (Still) Need You

My sweetie died in Sept 2014. The original song, “I Need You”, was written in 1982 while we were living on different coasts.

Today, 14 June 2015, I got caught up in another wave of grief. This time while I was driving. I had been thinking about “I Need You” and a new version, or sequel, started writing itself.

I wrote Part 2 as a bit of grief therapy and to let her know that I still love her…even though she took my heart with her when she went.
