Last Night
Verse 1:
So, last night, I picked up my pen,
Wanted to thank You for all You’ve been, dear Lord.
Through the highs and lows,
You stood by me, quieting my soul.
I used to chase the waterfalls—
The empty rush, the distant calls.
But one by one, the veils fell through,
And all that remained was only You.
Chorus:
’Cause all is but a fading dream,
Just colours on a painted wall.
But Your love—it’s deep, it’s real, it stays,
It refreshes my soul.
So here I am, O Lord, with heart and song,
To worship You alone—where I belong.
Verse 2:
You showed me all this world can give
Is just a shell of how we’re meant to live.
The love, the praise, the endless race—
All fades in time, but not Your grace.
Now I see what matters most—
To serve You, Lord, and hold You close.
To lay my days before Your throne,
And find my rest in You alone. Chorus
Verse 3:
You are the strongest tower, O gentle Lord,
The answer to my prayers through all my days.
There’s nothing else I need in this world but Your love—
Yes, take my heart and make it Yours, my God. Chorus
