Tears rolling down my cheeks at the end of every day.
They never understand what I go through, come what may.
A knock came at my door—who could it be at this time of day?
I just want to be alone, leave me alone to tend to my wounds.

He said, “It’s Jesus—open the door. Let’s have a few words, dear friend.”
He said, “It’s Jesus at your door. I’m here to heal you and wipe your tears.”

Glory to You, Lord; I surrender to the King of kings.
Holy is the Lord; we are safe under His mighty wings.
