My Song, My Plea

If You turn away, I’ll fall apart;
I need Your hands to tame my heart.

I see the world, its fleeting lies,
Desires burning, they blind my eyes.
I’ve felt the pull, I’ve seen the cost,
One step away and I am lost.

But where I stumble, You remain,
A steady love through all my pain.
Your kindness breaks my hardened will,
Your whisper calms the storm within.

Chorus:
Hold me, Father, keep me near,
Guard my soul from the flames I fear.
My life is Yours, my song, my plea,
Without Your presence, there’s no me.

I’ve carried anger I couldn’t tame,
A restless fire I tried to blame.
The world has pulled my heart astray,
But You still called me anyway.

A son of struggle, scarred and weak,
Yet in Your mercy, strength I seek.
When I am lost, You make me whole,
Your gentle hand restores my soul. Chorus

Your absence leaves me with no song.
But with You close, I find my peace,
