When we hear the birds sing, when we rise in the morning beside those we adore;
When we stand upon the mountain and behold the sun and the moon shining from above —

Let us bring our thanks to the Lord; offer the fruits of praise to the Father who reigns on high over all.
Shake off your shackles before the Lord — His presence breaks every chain and every cage woven in darkness.

He gives a child to the barren; He wipes the tears from the faces of the old.
He pours His rain upon the empty land; He turns the desert green and full once more.

Who compares to our King, whose very word dissolves all the weapons of the wicked?
Who compares to our King, whose breath upholds creation in every realm?
Who is like You, Lord? No throne is needed for You to reign over the earth.
