Raise Me Up Again

Chorus:
Save me, save me, Lord—Save me from the snare I wove myself.
Save me, save me, Lord—Save me from the darkness I once mistook for joy.

Verse 1:
Too often, Lord, I run from Your holy presence.
Too often my sin has driven me far from Your sacred throne.
My restless flesh keeps pulling down my soul;
And in the wilderness I stumble, with no one to lead me home.

Pre-Chorus:
I have fallen, Father—fallen short of all Your glory.
I can’t lift my head again; raise me up, I’m sorry. Chorus

Verse 2:
Break every bridge that binds my heart to this world;
Align my soul with Your calling and Your merciful throne.
Consume my impure desires in Your fire,
Forever, let my heart burn only for You, Lord.

Pre-Chorus:
I surrender to You, my God; receive my heart as I bow before Your throne.
O Holy Father, here I stand; You are all I have as I bow before Your throne. Chorus

Bridge:
When I stray, the shadows rise and choke the light within;
My heart grows cold and fragile under the weight of sin.
But Your Word is strength and shelter when my flesh betrays my soul—
So I cling to You, my Saviour; in You alone I’m made whole. Pre-Chorus 1 + Chorus
