Still You Loved Me

Still You Loved Me
Verse 1:
I walked the path I chose,
Blind to truth, deaf to grace,
I filled my cup with fading things,
And wore my pride like praise.
I trusted hands that dropped me,
And words that led astray,
Till pain became my portion,
And night refused the day.
Chorus:
Still, You loved me, Lord, when I cursed Your name.
Still, You waited through my shame.
You held me when I wouldn’t see,
And whispered, “Son, come back to Me.
Come back to Me, dear son,” You said, “come back to Me.”
And now I say, “Thank You, Father.”
Verse 2:
You are the Truth that never bends,
The Faithful One, the truest Friend.
No more I lean on what I feel—
I bow before Your perfect will.
Who is like You, Lord—so full of grace,
So rich in mercy, slow to chase?
You are my Father, all I need;
In Your strong arms, I am redeemed.
