The Witness

What do I still lack? You formed me in Your likeness.
You breathed into me a life that glows with echoes of Your heart.
You said, “My child, you are ever present in My holy thoughts.”
Let me live here as a witness — yet not be of this world.

You called me Your friend and opened wide the Father’s door.

You made me a witness of Your holy presence,
And turned my weakness into strength.
