Total Surrender
Verse 1:
I didn’t know who I was, just a shadow in the night
Wandering blind through empty roads, thinking wrong was right
I wore my chains like armour, called the darkness home
Till the darkness turned and dragged me down.
Death reached out to claim me, tore the breath right from my chest
But in the chaos and the silence, one name stood the test
Jesus—cried it trembling, thought it might be my last word
But power rose within me, and His mercy stirred.
Chorus:
Now I know who I am—I’m a child of the King,
Was lost, now I’m found in the arms of my Redeemer.
Without You, Lord, I am nothing, just dust on the breeze
But You gave me love I could never deserve, You brought me peace.
So take what’s left of me, Lord — forever I’m Yours.
This is my full surrender; use me for Your cause.
I give You all I am — my heart and soul.
My ways need Your grace and Your warm embrace.
Verse 2:
Hey! I see the truth so clearly now—the lies that shaped my twisted path.
The masks, the fears, the fleeting highs—all vanished in Your holy wrath.
Yet You looked on me with kindness, not the wrath I rightly earned,
You healed my scars with holy fire—oh, how my heart, it burned.
Break me, shape me, take me whole
Write Your story on my soul
Every heartbeat, every breath
Let it glorify Your name until my death (2x). Chorus
