This is Song #8 for my RPM Challenge 2021. I suppose we would say this is the title track of the Album. It’s loosely about an old friend of mine who suffered with serious drug addiction. I composed it at my piano and did many versions - in the end I settled on the simplest form of the song (scratching out a bunch of other chord progressions). It may be hard to discern the lyrics so here they are:
