Notice anything weirdly familiar about the title?
As part of RPM Challenge this year, I made an album in a month. One of the tracks was inspired by the fact that February ‘21 appeared perfectly in the calendar as exactly four rows of seven days. Check it out on yours. It started on Monday 1st, and finished on Sunday 28th. I thought it would be fun to write a piece in 7, and for 4 bars to have as many beats as there are days in February. As the days fly past, it’s a different way of perceiving how short a mere month really is.
